Cost: $10.00 for therapists, $ 5.00 for students

Presentation description: This presentation is appropriate for therapists who perform manual interventions with their patients. It is focused on a specific approach to treating the sensory system to lessen pain with therapy interventions. We will be highlighting the work of Diane Jacobs with Dermo Neuro Modulation, the use of a variety of tools including Kinesiotape, and the treatment strategies of Alison Taylor.

Objectives: Participants will be able to

-Appreciate the complexities of reported pain by their patients

-Identify 2 manual strategies to address sensory nerve irritation in the hand and upper extremity

-Identify 2 modalities to settle the skin
